Born and brought up in Azamgarh District of the Uttar Pradesh, Northern India. Our state is famous for verities of Indian cuisine such as Chicken Dum Biryani, Rogan Josh, Nihari Gosht and many more.

Currently, I am working as Marie Curie postdoctoral (MSCA-IF 2020) fellow with Iva’s group, in collaboration with Sara Farrona. I have been interested in plant epi-geno-(omic’s) biology and have hands on training on techniques that involves gene expression & regulation, protein-protein & DNA-protein interactions, recombinant protein expression & purification, molecular cloning’s, confocal analysis etc.
Presently, I am working on PWO proteins evolution, function, and conservation across the green linage. During my Ph.D., I investigated cis-trans interactions involving plant/viral promoters, who comprehend the transcriptional regulation of gene expression under various stress conditions.

Apart from Lab work I love to be around my little daughter and her Babblings. I like to go for swimming and playing shorts off any outdoor games such as cricket, volleyball, and football. Travelling and exploring the new places is one of favourite things to do, in my long weekend or holidays.
